Promotions for 2024!
We are thrilled to announce promotions of Senior Associate Sam Postel, AIA; Associate Chris Ard, AIA; Associate Hannah Howland; and Construction Administration Department Manager Rachael Davidoff. Sam, Chris, Hannah, and Rachael have demonstrated excellence, particularly this past year, applying their passions and talents and contributing to the growth and success of the firm – we’d like to recognize their accomplishments and celebrate them as firm leaders!
Sam has been leading 2550 Irving Street as well as El Cerrito Plaza Parcel A-South. He has also contributed to housing authority master planning/site studies, as well as to numerous marketing efforts in 2023. Sam’s ongoing contributions to larger office efforts include participation in the Interiors Committee and the Associates group. Sam also participated in the AIASF Housing 2050 design competition and is a strong advocate for high quality design throughout all phases of our work.
Chris has been a committed REVIT leader in the office, with a multiple-year stint as the REVIT+ Committee chair. This past year, Chris has shown excellence with his project contributions to 2550 Irving, The Randall @ Mill District, McKay Senior Living, and supporting Avalon Pleasanton and The Village SF Wellness Center. (And congratulations again on licensure!) Chris has also recently contributed pro bono design services to arts nonprofit CAST and Maya Lin School.
Hannah has been a committed member of both our REVIT+ and Interiors committees, has led Construction Administration of The Laureate, and has made other excellent contributions to the Berkeley USD Educator Housing, Camino 23, and, especially, Avalon Pleasanton. Hannah has been working on her licensure and we look forward to celebrating her completion of the process in the coming months.
Rachael has been a vital leader, both internally and externally, at PYATOK for 12 years. As a Senior Associate and project lead, Rachael has led the complex Avalon Pleasanton project through building permit, and helped with the construction administration of The Randall @ Mill District and Wilton Court Apartments. We’re excited to enhance our CA department with Rachael’s excellent project management and technical detailing skills.A hearty congratulations to you four – we look forward to your ongoing leadership at PYATOK!
